Want a career in accountancy that sets you apart?
Our first-class ACA/CTA training programme enables you to develop into a Chartered Accountant & Tax Advisor within one of the UK’s most forward-thinking and ambitious accountancy practices.
But it doesn’t stop there. Our approach to trainee recruitment focuses on long-term investment. We look for aspiring managers, directors and partners who will contribute to the growth and success of our business whilst developing their own rewarding careers.
This role will enable you to take full advantage of the hybrid working that we offer to all of our people. Whether you’re working from the office, from home or from a client site, we support our people to achieve the right balance of flexibility in line with delivering excellent client service.
Why join our team?
As a Tax Trainee, you will gain experience in both Corporate and Personal tax. Initially you will work on tax compliance matters and as time progresses you will have the opportunity to tackle complex tax issues and to complete a diverse range of tax advisory projects.
You will be given early responsibility from day one and will be working with and adding value to a variety of clients – from high net worth individuals and business owners through to large corporate organisations.
Recognised as an ICAEW Partner in Learning, you will study for the ACA/CTA qualification as part of a Level 7 Apprenticeship, to help you develop the wide-ranging skills needed to become a talented business adviser. You will be supported to complete a wide range of professional and personal development throughout your apprenticeship, both remotely and face to face, to ensure that you have skills and knowledge that you need to aid your future career development.
But it's not all about work. Our trainees are all encouraged to make a wider contribution through business development activities and initiatives such as CSR, diversity and sports and social activities. This allows you to develop into both technical experts and the future leaders of our business.
We know this gives our business a refreshingly different, people-focussed culture. It is no coincidence then, that for five years running we've been ranked as a Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For.
