We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Administrator to join our Torquay team.

This is an interesting role which will combine providing admin support for our payroll team with front of house and client support admin responsibilities.

Working from a modern and recently refurbished office which has everything from break out areas to outside space, you will be taking on a role that will be key to ensuring that an excellent level of service is offered to our clients.

This role will appeal to people who want to contribute to the success of an ambitious business that is taking giant strides in the accountancy and advisory sector.

The Role

Supporting our client delivery and payroll teams in delivering high quality services to our clients, you will:

  • Liaise with the accounts and tax teams to ensure all work is properly scheduled and delivered on time
  • Manage our reception area which will include greeting clients, sorting the post and answering the phones
  • Support client and payroll managers with management of costs on client assignments and timely billing
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with risk management procedures through new client set up processes, including issuing letters of engagement/disengagement and completion of anti-money laundering checks
  • Load BACS for payroll clients
  • Ensure internal systems are updated and maintained

What we are looking for

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:

  • Strong administration skills with previous experience ideally within the banking, financial services and/or accountancy sectors
  • Good IT skills with a strong working knowledge of MS office including Excel
  • Great organisation and communication skills with a self-starting approach to work
  • Excellent attention to detail
